Heirloom Arms was born when my dad left behind his firearms collection, and neither my mom nor I knew how to navigate the process of selling what I didn't want to keep. After visiting several local shops and being offered less than a quarter of their value, I set out to sell them on gunbroker.com myself. Different state regulations, transfer limitations, and finally discovering that only an FFL holder can ship what I sold led me to realize how complex the process is, even for someone familiar with firearms. I applied for our Federal Firearms License with my partner, Joe, and set out to help others in Northern Michigan sell their firearms for the best value.
